Icon Solutions, the creator of Instant Payments Framework (IPF), has appointed Simon Wilson as global software sales director.
Wilson has previously worked at Token, where he was sales director focused on open banking.
Prior to that, Wilson was the business development director at ACI Worldwide, working to establish its instant payments business across Europe and North America.
Wilson has also worked at Misys, FIS, and IBM in global sales roles.
Tom Kelleher, commercial director at Icon Solutions, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Simon Wilson to Icon at a really exciting time in our growth. He makes a great addition to the Icon team and he will be instrumental in our mission to help our customers deliver instant payments.”
