SANNE opens office in Mumbai

SANNE has opened a new office in Mumbai, India in an effort to extend its global reach.

SANNE’s Mumbai office will initially focus on servicing existing clients in the region while expanding the visibility of the brand and SANNE’s global offering in the region.

As part of the expansion, SANNE has appointed Khushboo Chopra as head of business development, India.

Prior to SANNE, Chopra was senior manager of custody and fund accounting at SBI-SG Global Securities Services.

Before that, Chopra was senior manager of the financial institution group at Kotak Mahindra Bank.

SANNE’s office launch also coincides with the senior appointment of Varounen Goinden who joined SANNE as director, head of business development for Mauritius and India year.

Mark Law, CCO at SANNE, said: ‘We’re delighted that Khushboo Chopra has joined us. She has the expertise, experience, and regional knowledge to build upon our valued relationships in India.”

He added: “We are delighted to establish a new presence in an exciting market like India. This is in direct response to client demand and will serve to further add to our already well-established network and market expertise.’

Khushboo Chopra added: ‘I am very pleased to have this opportunity to launch SANNE’s new office in Mumbai and I look forward to building a strong local presence. There is excellent growth potential for us in the market and I look forward to growing our brand across India.”
