Vistra has appointed Eric Lodge as senior director, client services and Stephen Smith as sales director, Canada, effective immediately.

The appointments are part of Vistra’s efforts to bolster its client services and sales teams in North America as the organisation expands its presence in the region.

Based in San Francisco, Lodge will report to Kathryn Polak, vice president, global client services, Vistra.

Lodge, who has worked in corporate services consulting for more than 20 years, specialises in working with clients in support of their global finance, human resources, and compliance requirements.

Based in Toronto, Smith will report to Ed Novak, managing director, sales and client service, Vistra Americas.

Smith will be responsible for the sales and commercial strategy development of Vistra in Canada, with the goal of enhancing service offerings to both new and existing clients in Canada.

Smith has more than 25 years of experience in new business development and corporate finance in the North American leveraged debt and asset-based lending industry.

Prior to joining Vistra, Smith was the principal at SBS Structured Solutions, where he provided insight and consulting services for emerging platforms.

Commenting on both appointments, Novak said: “Eric Lodge and Stephen Smith have long experience in the global corporate services industry, and their knowledge of how to operate efficiently and compliantly across borders will be a real asset for our North American clients and prospects.”
