Lancashire County Pension Fund renews relationship with Northern Trust

Lancashire County Pension Fund has reappointed Northern Trust as its custody and performance measurement service provider.

Northern Trust will service the £11.5 billion (US$14.6 billion) fund that provides retirement benefits for 189,000 employees and 300 employers across Lancashire, north-west England.

James Wright, head of asset owners for EMEA at Northern Trust, comments: “This re-appointment underscores our unwavering commitment to the local government pension scheme (LGPS) sector and our role as a strategic partner to the LGPS community.”

Sean Greene, head of service pension fund at Lancashire County Pension Fund, adds: “Throughout the 13 years, Northern Trust has supported us in times of transformative changes with its client-centric and solution-driven approach.”
