Institutional agency-only brokerage firm has bought EFX Prime Services from First New York Securities.

The EFX Prime Services team will be integrated into Direct Access Partners. Brian Stutman will be managing director, Andrew Saunders will head up the capital introduction programme and Geoff Webster will join the prime operations group.

"The addition of the EFX Prime team adds significant expertise, strong client relationships and a successful capital introduction program to our global prime effort," said Ben Chinea, CEO of Direct Access Partners.
