University fund mandate for Northern Trust

Northern Trust has been selected to provide global custody services for the investment funds of the Virginia Commonwealth University Investment Management Company (VCIMCO).

Based in Richmond, VCIMCO provides investment management services to the Virginia Commonwealth University. Northern Trust will also provide the company with fund accounting and administration services.

William Lee, COO of VCIMCO, said: “Northern Trust’s innovative custody platform along with their expertise in servicing alternative investments were key differentiators for us.”
