Deutsche Bank’s Direct Securities Services announced today that it has been appointed by Daiwa Capital Markets Europe Ltd as its Austrian securities clearer and custodian. Giving clear indication of Deutsche Bank's growing strength in the CEE region.

"This new appointment demonstrates Deutsche Bank’s increasing strength in the custody and clearing market in Central and Eastern Europe. The Austrian market, with its importance as a gateway to Eastern European markets, continues to attract important international broker/dealers to the region." said Michael Aschauer, Co-Head Global Sales and Relationship Management in Deutsche Bank’s Direct Securities Services. "We are very pleased to assist yet another client in its goal to access this exciting region", says Aschauer.
