Caceis has been selected to provide custody, depository, fund administration and transfer agency services for Amundi SGR, the Italian subsidiary of the Amundi Group.
The mandate will cover assets under management totalling around €50 billion.
Alessandro Varaldo, CEO of Amundi SGR, said: “To support our growing business, we require a strong partner with in-depth asset servicing experience. Caceis provides a clear strategic fit with Amundi SGR’s development objectives and at the same time realises significant business synergies for our common group.”
“Caceis’s commitment to quality allows us to both enhance the level of services we provide our investors and improve our performance along the entire value chain, through fund creation, development, management and distribution.”
Giorgio Solcia, managing director of Caceis’s Italian branch, added: “We are delighted to strengthen our extensive partnership with the Amundi group worldwide by working with Amundi in Italy. Caceis has again demonstrated its ability to onboard new clients, successfully completing the migration of 100 mutual funds within all timing and operational constraints.”
“Amundi in Italy now benefits from Caceis’s central platform for custody and fund accounting as well as our ‘follow-the-sun’ workflow, which increases operational efficiency.”
