RBC I&TS appointed custodian for Aviva Canada

RBC Investor & Treasury Services (RBC I&TS) has been appointed custodian for insurance broker, Aviva Canada.
RBC I&TS will also provide foreign exchange and securities lending services for Aviva Canada’s corporate treasury assets.
Aviva Canada provides property and casualty insurance for home, automobile, leisure, lifestyle and business claims.
David Linds, managing director and head of asset servicing for Canada at RBC I&TS, said: “The addition of a client of Aviva Canada’s standing in the Canadian insurance sector further consolidates our leading position in this market.”
He added: “Our deep understanding of the insurance market, coupled with our leading custody and securities lending services, enables us to confidently provide clients such as Aviva Canada with best-in-class services to meet their evolving needs.”
RBC I&TS serve clients from 17 countries across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. It currently has CAD $4.2 trillion in client assets under administration, as of 31 July, 2017.
