RBC Investor & Treasury Services (RBC I&TS) has been selected as custodian, administrator and registry agent by Warakirri Asset Management.
Warakirri offers specialist investment for charities, global and domestic pension funds as well as individual investors across Australian and international equities, Australian agriculture, currency management and US real estate.
Commenting on the appointment, Jim McKay, Warakirri managing director, said: “We were impressed with RBC’s technology platform and a strong commitment to the ongoing development of their IT and service platform. This aligns with Warakirri’s own commitment to investing in our business to continue to deliver high-quality investment outcomes and service to our clients.”
“Not only were RBC able to offer a solution tailored to meet our AMIT requirements, but a consolidated offer inclusive of wholesale and retail registry services.”
David Travers, head of RBC I&TS Australia, added: “We are finding that asset managers want more than commoditised custody services and want a true partner.”
“We are looking forward to working with Warakirri to leverage the benefits of our investment in technology with improved efficiencies, enhanced data capabilities, reduced complexity and a seamless user experience.”
