Independent fund platform Ifsam has expanded its services to offer custody services to its institutional clients.
Previously, Ifsam outsourced custody services to Hauck & Aufhäuser Luxembourg.
According to Ifsam, by adding custody services to its service range, it now covers the whole fund processing value chain.
The firm described the move as a “major milestone”.
Jean-Luc Lanners, one of the managing directors at Ifsam, said: “The decision to insource the depository function was driven by our endeavour to constantly improve the quality and flexibility of our services not only for the front office but also for back-office services. It underlines our confidence in our business model and our commitment to provide our customers and partners with the best possible service all along the fund operations value chain.”
