RBC Investor & Treasury Services (RBC I&TS) has been appointed by Nordea Markets to provide custody, fund administration, transfer agency and related services for its UCITS exchange-traded funds (ETF) business listed in Sweden.

Nordea Markets is an international capital markets operator and investment banking partner in the Nordic region.

RBC I&TS said Nordea Markets were looking for an experienced and strong partner both in the Nordic market and in Luxembourg, able to deliver tailor-made solutions to support their Nordea IndexGo.

Nordea IndexGo is a solution created by Nordea Markets that offers investment strategies formalised to unique indices.

RBC I&TS has been supporting Nordic clients for more than 20 years and has been increasing its share of Luxembourg assets managed by Nordic clients since 2015.

Johan Lindberg, managing director, global client coverage for RBC I&TS, said: “We are a leading provider in Luxembourg with a clear objective to further extend our client base in the Nordic region with a strong reputation and high rating.”

He added: “To be selected by Nordea for their ETF’s business is further evidence of our capabilities and reflects our growing market share in the region. We are proud to support Nordea Market’s long-term growth.”
