Ireland-based fund administration company Quintillion has gone live with a new version (7.0) of a reference data management suite from Paladyne Systems. Paladyne is announcing the release of its latest reference data management suite today.

Quintillion was among the first clients to upgrade to the latest version of Paladyne’s reference data management suite. “The recent enhancements of Paladyne’s reference data management suite has allowed us to considerably improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our pricing and data management process, eliminate manual intervention, and reach daily deadlines much earlier than was previously possible,” said Joan Kehoe, Chief Executive Officer of Quintillion. “We have been very impressed by this major release and the speed at which we were able to implement it.”

The new version of Paladyne's data management suite can handle larger data volumes and offers improved flexibility. This release is also intended to enable Paladyne to service much larger organizations with complex and demanding needs. Paladyne has traditionally focused on hedge funds, fund administration companies and asset managers and is now moving up market to larger institutional buy-side firms, as well as sell-side firms.

The new version includes more developer tools, and modules that can help firms connect proprietary systems to Paladyne Price Master™ and Paladyne Security Master™, both are the major components of Paladyne’s industry-leading reference data management suite.

Sol Zlotchenko, Chief Technology Officer for Paladyne Systems, said that a lot of out-of-the-box functionality was built to help firms improve operational efficiencies, as well as lower the total cost of ownership of managing and maintaining reference data across complex organizations. The new version also includes more tools for customization as well as a full Web Service API, which can benefit larger organizations that have more proprietary systems that need to be integrated with the reference data offering.
