Exberry has partnered with Digital Asset to launch an end-to-end exchange infrastructure-as-a-service for global traditional, alternative and digital asset markets.
The partnership between the creator of digital asset modelling language (DAML) for smart contracts, Digital Asset, and exchange technology developer Exberry was formed following a rise in market demand for trading new types of financial instruments, such as digitised and tokenised assets.
The new exchange will see Exberry provide the technology to run the matching engine power, while Digital Asset’s DAML-as-a-service platform DABL will run the post-trade settlement registry functions in near real time.
Magnus Almqvist, head of exchange development at Exberry, commented: “Both DABL and Exberry have been built for modern marketplaces, delivering cloud ready environments optimised with application programming interface (API) integration.”
“This is a one-of-a-kind approach that allows clients to scale with ease from micro markets to large global installations and connect to a growing ecosystem of third party APIs and services.”
Eric Saraniecki, co-founder of Digital Asset, added: “We are excited to work with Exberry to help build and support new market models and deliver impressive technology fast.”
