The Indian Government has launched the Vishvasya-Blockchain Technology Stack alongside the National Blockchain Framework (NBF).

The launch aims to facilitate Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) as well as support the creation of innovative decentralised applications.

The introduction of the NBF and NBFLite is also said to promote a secure digital service delivery to citizens, as well as enable academic institutions to prototype and test blockchain solutions.

Commenting on the launch, Dilip Chenoy, chairman of Bharat Web3 Association (BWA) states: “Investors will benefit from increased transparency and efficiency in public services, which can drive broader adoption of blockchain technologies.

“With a conducive regulatory environment and a focus on skill development, the NBF positions India as an attractive destination for investment in the Web3 space, promising significant returns and growth opportunities in the evolving digital landscape.”
