Deus X Capital has launched Solstice Labs, a crypto-business which facilitates access to DeFi for retail investors.

Solstice Labs will develop institutional-grade DeFi investment products, with the first protocol to be launched in early 2025. This protocol aims to offer enhanced yield opportunities to all investors and will be built upon the Solana blockchain.

This project is funded by Deus X Capital and will operate under Deus X Capital’s Enterprises division. Solstice Labs will be headed by Ben Nadareski, the CEO and co-founder of the company, alongside Tim Grant, who will serve as chairman and co-founder.

Grant comments: “Solstice Labs represents a key pillar in the Deus X Capital strategy to invest in and build enterprises that act as a bridge between traditional capital markets and crypto and DeFi ecosystems. We strongly believe that the combination will result in a faster, better and cheaper financial system in which everyone can prosper.”

Nadareski adds: “This presents a huge opportunity to introduce institutional-grade yield-opportunities and infrastructure into DeFi which will allow for a far broader range of investment participation.”
