Health and retirement insurance provider La Mutuelle Générale has adopted BNP Paribas’ data management platform Manaos for ESG data collection and reporting.
BNP Paribas’ Securities Services has served the French company in a number of capacities since 2004, including with global custody and financing solutions services.
Manaos will produce financial reports on climate and biodiversity, allowing La Mutuelle Générale to monitor its financial investments and draft regulatory reports for Article 29 of the Energy Climate Law, the Extra-Financial Performance Declaration and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
Mattieu Esposito, investment and treasury director at La Mutuelle Général, says: “This [mandate] fully aligns with the proactive corporate social responsibility policy of La Mutuelle Générale, which is committed to supporting ecological and social transition through its investments.”
Franck Delbès. CEO of Manaos, comments: “We are dedicated to facilitating accurate and reliable ESG data collection and reporting for our clients, which is crucial for an active player in the local and solidarity-based economy such as La Mutuelle Générale.
“In a changing regulatory landscape, we are committed to supporting our clients in their sustainable strategies.”
