Clearstream partner with ISS ESG

Clearstream, Deutsche Börse’s post-trade services provider, has partnered with ISS ESG to enhance the sustainability data offering for fund distributors.
ISS ESG, part of ISS STOXX, which is also majority owned by Deutsche Börse Group, will have its rating and packages integrated into Compass, Clearstream’s fund distribution collaboration tool.
The partnership aims to provide fund distributors with a comprehensive ESG perspective and detailed information on additional sustainability criteria.
Through Compass, fund distributors will be able to filter investment funds based on sustainability data, to better help align their sustainability preferences.
Moritz Dechow, CEO of Clearstream Fund Centre, says: “By integrating the ISS ESG solution into Compass, our new collaborative web-based platform for fund distribution, we can offer sustainable solutions aligned with market dynamics and empower our clients to make informed decisions.”
Till Jung, head of ISS ESG, adds: “We are excited to provide our high quality ESG fund data and reports to Clearstream clients. Fund distributors may leverage our unique insights to evaluate manager reported European ESG Template (EET) reports and screen funds for alignment to their sustainability preferences.”
