Vistra has received regulatory approval to set up operations in India’s new Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), a global financial and IT hub.
Vistra will expand its India business into GIFT City as part of a wider effort to exceed its global benchmarks.
Vistra says it has ambitious plans to capitalise on the growth it has experienced over the years, despite the challenges the COVID-19 pandemic posed.
With 1,000 employees based in India, the team services more than 150 global clients.
Shikha Bagai, country managing director of India and Mauritius at Vistra comments: “This expansion into GIFT City represents a fantastic opportunity for us and the nation to grow and connect with different financial hubs around the world.”
He adds: “In the future, we see GIFT City at the heart of our efforts to help organisations to realise the potential of expanding into the Indian market.”
