Ampega furthers digitisation project with SimCorp

Ampega, the investment management division of Talanx insurance group, has expanded its partnership with SimCorp.
Already using SimCorp’s back- and middle-office suite, Ampega will now onboard SimCorp Dimension’s front-office suite which includes portfolio management and order and trade processing.
Ampega will also utilise SimCorp’s risk product suite, including solutions for the valuation of trading products, compliance and market risk, including Solvency II.
The expansion will accelerate the company’s shift to a fully-integrated, front-to-back solution and allow for future growth, with its modernisation project expected to cover the next two years.
Dirk Erdmann, chief operating officer of Ampega, says: “By reducing our system complexity, we believe that Ampega can increase operational efficiency while maintaining high standards in portfolio management and risk analytics. We are looking forward to working with SimCorp to build a future-proof IT landscape.”
Christian Kromann, CEO of SimCorp, adds: “With the integration of these additional solutions, Ampega will benefit from a fully-integrated, up-to-date overview across all asset classes by utilising one source of truth for the portfolios they manage.
