Vancouver-based investment management firm Genus Capital Management has selected RBC Investor & Treasury Services’ (RBC I&TS’) middle-office Trade Management solution for post-trade execution services.
The solution will provide RBC I&TS’ long-standing client Genus with increased control and visibility of its funds’ trading activity.
RBC I&TS’ solution delivers coverage for all markets, providing near real-time transparency on the complete ‘post-execution’ trade lifecycle, broker performance and settlement risk.
According to RBC I&TS, the solution enables firms to optimise their operational performance by removing manual processing, grow their businesses through jurisdiction and asset class expansion, mitigate the risk of failed settlements and manage regulatory and market changes.
Paul Folk, managing director, head of asset managers at RBC I&TS, says: “We are proud to be able to offer our modular middle-office solutions to clients such as Genus.
“Our Trade Management platform provides Genus with access to RBC’s global trade management expertise, supporting its expansion into new markets and cross-border transactions, and enabling the firm to respond to evolving regulatory and market changes.”
Stephen Au, CEO of Genus, adds: “We are pleased to have extended our relationship with RBC I&TS to include Trade Management services, and look forward to our continuing relationship with the team. We are confident that the Trade Management platform will help to drive Genus’ growth by providing the data visualisation tools required to give us even better oversight of our processes and risks.”
