Apex Group welcomes Rama Sithanen

Apex Group has appointed Dr. Rama Sithanen as independent director and chairperson of Apex Group companies in Mauritius, effective 31 March.
Apex Group companies in Mauritius are Apex Financial Services (Mauritius) Ltd, Apex Fund Services (Mauritius) Ltd and Apex Fund and Corporate Services (Mauritius) Ltd.
Sithanen will chair the board, the executive committee and other relevant committees.
In addition to his board seat, Sithanen will be responsible for providing strategic support to the leadership team.
Sithanen has more than forty years experience in the industry. He was deputy prime minister and minister of finance of Mauritius between 2005 and 2010.
Apex Group’s presence in Mauritius has significantly grown since it established a presence in the region in 2006.
