On 1 July 2011, the Key Information Document (KID)* replaces the UCITS simplified prospectus. As the switchover to the KID is mandatory, CACEIS has launched a new offer for management companies to assist them in implementing the regulation.

CACEIS's service is designed for clients that wish to draw up their own KIDs as well as those seeking to outsource the entire document creation and monitoring process. The service is offered in different modules ranging from raw or processed data provision (charges, performance and risk/return indicators) to a fully outsourced solution. CACEIS offers great flexibility regarding the differing needs of clients in terms of creating, publishing, distributing and updating the documents.

As a modular solution that combines advanced technology and expertise to meet the challenges ahead, the KID service forms part of CACEIS's wide-ranging Cross-Border Fund Distribution Support service.

- The KID is a standardised summary document providing investors with essential information about the fund (objectives, risk, performance and charges) to assist them in making informed investment decisions. This document replaces the Simplified Prospectus for all UCITS products.
