SIX Exchange Regulation has opened an investigation against Credit Suisse Funds AG on the grounds of possible breaches of regular reporting obligations.

The bank has probed into Credit Suisse for reportedly providing regulatory information in relation to exchange-traded funds.

"Within the framework of regular reporting obligations issuers are obliged to report to SIX Exchange Regulation technical and administrative information in order to guarantee smooth trading,” stated the bank.

The investigation is based on a notification, which was reportedly sent in January this year regarding the distribution of exchange traded funds of Credit Suisse Funds.

The length of the investigation is not determined.
