Brabent Development Agency Capital (BOM Capital) has selected SunGard’s Investran solution in order to help enhance venture capital and improve insight and performance in private equity.
The Netherlands-based investment management company will use the integrated SunGard solution to help enhance data and investment transparency across front- and back-office stakeholders and processes.
BOM Capital invests risk capital in start-up and growing companies in the Dutch region of Brabent, and works with long-term equity capital and fund-to-fund investments. It will use Investran’s capabilities for accounting, deal flows, relationship management, data exchange, analytics and reporting.
The mandate intends to increase operational efficiencies across finance, compliance, administration and investment management teams.
Miriam Dragstra, director at BOM Capital, said: “We were seeking a single system to provide data transparency of investments and processes across the portfolio lifecycle and multiple stakeholders.”
“SunGard’s Investran provides the flexible reporting, business intelligence, process management, and document sharing we need, in a comprehensive managed services offering, to help improve our ability to stimulate innovative activity and economic growth in Brabant.”
Oliver Muhr, COO for private equity at SunGard’s asset management business, said: “The ability to transform data into intelligent information that can be utilised to meet stakeholder demands is crucial to the performance and efficiency of supporting the funding needs of growing companies. We’re pleased that BOM Capital has chosen SunGard’s Investran to help gain greater insight into data and investments, increase operational efficiency, enhance reporting, and improve performance.”
