Deutsche Bank’s Fitzgerald takes on JP Morgan role

JP Morgan has appointed Deutsche Bank’s Tim Fitzgerald as head of global fund services, replacing Stephanie Miller who will leave the firm in early 2016.
Fitzgerald was previously managing director and global head of fund services at Deutsche Bank, where he was also a member of the investor services management team.
He was a founding member of Deutsche Bank’s fund services business, having previously served as head of private equity fund services, and in several other senior fund services positions.
Before joining Deutsche Bank, he worked at Goldman Sachs Fund Administration and in Ernst & Young’s hedge fund advisory audit advisory practice.
Miller has been with JP Morgan since 2006. Before this she was managing director at Citco Fund Services, and she has also held positions at Credit Suisse First Boston and Capco.
In an internal note, a JP Morgan spokesperson said: “Client and industry trends support the long-term growth of this business and we have a compelling opportunity to gain share, especially as we make progress closing gaps, becoming more efficient and enhancing our client service.”
