LendInvest Capital has selected CoInvestor as the platform for UK advisors to invest in its £130 million Luxembourg-domiciled real estate opportunity fund.
CoInvestor’s online platform will help streamline access for investors looking to participate in a diverse pool of real estate-backed loans, which have been underwritten by LendInvest.
The platform allows advisors to see their clients’ full range of alternative investments in one place, and to allocate to funds online, in a bid to bring the asset class into the mainstream.
LendInvest’s fund will be the first in Luxembourg to be available on CoInvestor.
According to LendInvest, the fund aims to achieve sustainable, uncorrelated income yield, while providing strong downside protection.
Sam Plumptre, CEO of CoInvestor, said: “This is yet another strong endorsement of our ability to make it easier for advisers and investors to access high-quality alternative investments via our simple digital investment process.”
Carl Giannotta, director of LendInvest Capital, added: “This is an important new partnership that will give a broader pool of potential investors access to our strategy and give them a superior application process. The ability for UK financial advisers and investors to digitally access the real estate opportunity fund for the first time promises to make the process simple and efficient.”
