Thomas Murray has partnered with ME Business Solutions (MEBS), a Luxembourg-based advisory firm specialising in regulatory and governance solutions to the funds industry.
The alliance will focus on Thomas Murray’s technology, post trade risk products and compliance solutions available to fund management companies and other financial institutions, that require solutions to their regulatory challenge of monitoring third parties.
According to Simon Thomas, executive chairman of Thomas Murray, the new partnership with MEBS is a “logical extension” of Thomas Murray’s existing support to major global asset owners.
It will provide holistic solutions that should enable fund management companies to fulfil their regulatory obligations and manage risk exposure to markets and third parties.
Thomas continued: “I am confident that MEBS will provide the perfect complement to Thomas Murray’s solutions as we continue to build our Regulatory Solutions business into the fund management industry.”
Eric Chinchon, chairman of MEBS, said: “This strategic alliance will allow both Thomas Murray and MEBS to leverage their current abilities. It will allow investment fund managers and fund boards in Luxembourg to mitigate better and monitor more effective compliance with regulations applicable to them,” added Chinchon.
Last month, Thomas Murray entered into a new partnership with International Fund Services & Asset Management, a Luxembourg-based fund platform.
