Ocorian bolsters Cayman legal team

Ocorian has hired Nathaniel Luker as a new partner of its Cayman Islands legal arm, Ocorian Law (Cayman) Limited.
Luker will advise on capital markets, private equity, corporate and finance transactions and will head up the legal arm’s capital markets and investment funds practices.
Luker previously worked in the Cayman Islands office of Mourant where he was counsel for the finance, corporate and funds team.
He has also held other law-related roles at Freshfields in London and Clifford Chance and Allen & Overy in Moscow.
Commenting on his appointment, Luker says: “I’m delighted to be joining Ocorian’s highly regarded Cayman team and look forward to working with the group’s clients to help them achieve their transactional, strategic and operational goals.”
He adds: “I’m excited at the prospect of building on the excellent work done by the Cayman legal team so far and developing and expanding its offering.”
