Crestbridge advances UK expansion with the opening of its Southampton office.

The office will be a centre of fund administration technology and processes for Crestbridge’s operations, including those in the UK, Ireland, Europe and the US.

It will support Crestbridge’s global office network and provide skilled jobs and local investment in Southampton, as well as the surrounding community.

It is the second UK office to be opened by the firm — the first being located in London — in a move to increase international investment, whereby the firm can support the UK as a gateway to European and global markets for asset managers and international investors.

Additionally, Crestbridge approved a secondee programme for Southampton, enabling the office to benefit from the shared experience and expertise of colleagues from across the group.

Speaking on the announcement, Michael Johnson, group head of institutional services at Crestbridge comments: “Our new office in Southampton is very much part of our commitment to service and to quality. It will serve as an important hub for the continued operational support of our business and a key centre for the development of our people.

“The Crestbridge Group will benefit from the service capabilities developed in Southampton and this investment demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the UK. We’re also committed to the local communities in which we operate, and we very much look forward to developing initiatives for our Southampton office that will provide employment opportunities for young people, graduates and career professionals alike”.

Daniel Fitzhenry, leader of Southampton City Council, adds: “We have long established financial services companies based in the city already and it’s great to see that we continue to attract investment from this sector. Crestbridge will be bringing new knowledge-economy jobs to the city and offer opportunities to graduates from our two universities.”
