MUFG Investor Services, the global asset servicing arm of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, has launched a business consulting group, which aims to deliver intelligence and solutions to financial clients across the world.
The New York-based team will be led by Brian Yegidis, most recently head of prime services and hedge fund consulting for the Americas at Credit Suisse.
Joining Yegidis will be Caley Watnick, who also joins from Credit Suisse where she was an associate in prime consulting.
Through this new group, Yegidis and Watnick will work alongside the broader MUFG Investor Services team to provide additional services to clients, as well as redesigning internal processes and enhancing the firm’s the understanding of new trends.
Both Yegidis and Watnick bring more than 30 years’ experience and understanding of relationships across the investment and asset management industries.
Joseph Latini, global head of business development at MUFG Investor Services, says: “We strive to be a trusted advisor and solutions provider to our clients by guiding them on more than just their operations. This new group will equip MUFG with additional tools to provide first-rate services and informed advice to clients around the world and give them additional capabilities beyond the services that we traditionally provide as a firm. I am really excited to have them as part of our team.”
