MUFG Investors Services unveils Cyprus office

MUFG Investor Services has opened a new operational centre in Limassol, Cyprus to support its rapid expansion across Europe.
As the global asset servicing arm of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, MUFG Investor Services provides a wide asset servicing offering, ranging fund finance and liquidity solutions, agency securities lending, FX solutions, global custody and middle-office.
The new office will allow MUFG Investor Services to expand its operational coverage, as well as support current fund administration requirements.
The firm has regularly reviewed its geographic footprint since 2019 to ensure it is positioned in strategic operational centres with high-quality infrastructure and readily-available talent pools.
Commenting on the new office, John Sergides, CEO of MUFG Investor Services, says: “We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new operational centre in Cyprus, an area rapidly developing into a financial service and business hub in the region.
“This operational centre will allow us to continue to provide clients with the services and distinctive solutions they have come to expect from our team as we maintain our rapid growth trajectory.
