Black Knight Media, publisher of industry-leading titles Asset Servicing Times and Securities Finance Times, has stepped in to support the local community.
Beckenham Town U13's girls team, who play up a year in the Surrey County Womens & Girls Football League, have been supplied a much-needed new kit by the publisher.
On receiving the kit, head coach at Beckenham Town Junior Football Club Clyde Pullen says: "Once again, we would like to thank Justin and his business for their generosity and support.
“The junior football club is a big part of the community. Girls football is on the increase and we need to do all that we can to support it and make sure that the same opportunities exist."
Black Knight Media publisher Justin Lawson adds: "Being in the position where we can support a local club or charity, as we have in the past and will continue to in the future, means a lot to me. When we can help, we will.
"Covid, and now the cost of living crisis, has meant that clubs are struggling to operate and provide the facilities and opportunities that my own sons have benefitted from."
It was only last year that the company donated £12,100 to Mind and a defibrillator to the Beckenham Town Junior Football Club.
The donations were raised at the November 2021 Asset Servicing Times Industry Excellence Awards — an event that will be held once again on Friday 4 November 2022.
