Perpetual has appointed State Street’s Charles River to manage its front office operations for its asset management business in Australia.
Charles River Investment Management Solution will manage Perpetual’s Australian and global asset management portfolios, order and execution, compliance and post-trade processing.
Dennis Baillon, director of business development for Asia-Pacific at Charles River, states: “To be successful in today’s market, managers need a platform that provides flexibility in their operating environment and enables them to scale as their business requires.”
Craig Squires, Perpetual’s chief operating officer, adds, “This is an important partnership that ensures the streamlining and simplification of front office operations within Australia on a single OMS platform with Charles River.”
Perpetual completed the acquisition of Pendal Group in January 2023. The group had been a Charles River client in Australia since 2002.
