SimCorp has partnered with Quoniam Asset Management, with the aim of transforming their investment management operations.

SimCorp’s enterprise SaaS platform will be combined with the quantitative asset manager’s proprietary research and portfolio construction capabilities.

Nigel Cresswell, CEO at Quoniam, explains the partnership: “Meta-themes such as AI, cloud, and big data are exponentially increasing the demands on all asset managers and this lighthouse project with SimCorp is an integral component of our digital transformation strategy”.

SimCorp will be responsible for data management services for investment operations including market and reference data. SimCorp will also oversee Quoniam’s entire post-trade operations and related operational and regulatory reporting.

Christian Kromann, CEO of SimCorp, says: “With SimCorp assuming responsibility for the entire middle office operations lifecycle through our business process services, we’re increasing Quoniam’s operational efficiency with high levels of automation.”
