Citi selects Mangla as head of financing for investment banking

Achintya Mangla has been named head of financing for Investment Banking at Citi.
In this newly created role, Mangla will be responsible for Global Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Equity Capital Markets, Syndicate and Private Capital Markets, where he will deliver financing strategies for public and private clients.
Mangla joins Citi after more than 22 years at J.P. Morgan, where he most recently acted as head of Global EMC. Mangla brings a host of experience in asset class roles along with extensive global connections, having worked in Asia, EMEA and the US

Current head of Global DCM, Rich Zogheb, and co-heads of Global ECM, Douglas Adams and James Fleming, will remain in their respective roles and report to Mangla.
