Euroclear has collaborated with BlackRock to broaden access to private markets.

Through this partnership, BlackRock will extend the distribution of its private market funds via Euroclear’s FundsPlace, an end-to-end fund distribution solution.

Euroclear’s FundsPlace also currently serves 2,500 clients worldwide, which the companies say makes it well-equipped to broaden BlackRock’s private market funds to a wider array of investors.

The collaboration further aims to enhance client experiences through improved efficiency and automation in capital raising, distribution and settlement.

Vincent Clause, global head of funds strategy and product expansion at Euroclear, comments: “We are thrilled to broaden investment opportunities for our clients by leveraging our long-standing relationship with BlackRock across mutual funds and ETFs.”

Head of the alternatives specialists team in EMEA Wealth at BlackRock, Fabio Osta, adds: “We are pleased to join forces with Euroclear on our shared ambition to make investing in private markets easier and more affordable to a broader range of investors.”
