SIX has partnered with Syntax Data, a financial data and technology provider.

The collaboration will allow SIX customers to access Syntax’s multi-sector company classifications along with detailed revenue and product line data. This is said to offer SIX’s clients with valuable insights into the business models of companies worldwide.

Syntax’s data standardises a number of company reports into a unified language, which the company says help enable accurate report comparisons and in-depth analysis. This will further aid SIX’s clients in decision making.

Ryan Etherington, senior product manager for reference data at SIX, comments: “Partnering with Syntax allows our customers to grasp the full scope of a company’s operations beyond their main product line. By integrating with our high-quality security master, clients can fully understand their portfolios, generate accurate peer groups, and gain insights that traditional classifications cannot provide.”

CEO of Syntax, Patrick Shaddow, adds: “We are thrilled to partner with SIX to deliver a market-leading product to financial intermediaries worldwide, offering an unmatched level of public company detail in financial markets.”
