Texture Capital Holdings has integrated with the Canton Network to enable the deployment of its Alternative Trading System (ATS).

ATS will be operated by the company’s subsidiary Texture Capital, and aims to facilitate the matching and execution of orders in securities tokenised on the Canton Network.

The company says this will allow for more efficient digital securities transactions between institutional investors and other market participants.

“Texture Capital looks forward to working with other Canton Network participants and enhancing capital markets workflows leveraging blockchain technology,” says Richard Johnson, CEO of Texture Capital.

Eric Saraniecki, co-founder and head of Network Strategy at Digital Asset, adds: “Texture Capital's integration, and their plans to launch tokenisation and trading services on Canton, highlight the growing strength and diversity of our ecosystem. We look forward to collaborating with Texture Capital and other participants to drive meaningful transformation in capital markets.”
