13 February 2025 South Africa

AZA Finance and dLocal have partnered to expand services through mutual cross selling.
The partnership will see dLocal’s cross-border payment infrastructure combined with the fintech company specialising in payments and foreign exchange in Africa’s foreign exchange capabilities and network of regional licences.
The deal expands dLocal’s reach across the continent, including Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, Egypt, Cameroon, and Zambia.
Agustin Cerisola, general manager for Africa, Asia and remittances at dLocal, says: “We hope this is the first step in an even broader partnership that would consolidate both companies' leadership position and create a regional powerhouse in the African cross border payments space."
