AlphaMetrix buys Spectrum

AlphaMetrix has acquired Spectrum Global Fund.

As a result, it now has the world’s largest independent full-service hedge fund platform available in addition to its existing managed account services.?The new multi-administrator platform created by the acquisition will allow investors to choose from a wide variety of fund administrators, including AlphaMetrix 360 – a direct result of the acquisition. The company is now working with over 100 managers and $20 billion in client assets.
