Phoenix Fund Services appoints new MD

Phoenix Fund Services has announced the appointment of Tony Reed as managing director, responsible for client relationships as well as compliance and risk management for the fund administrator's UK arm. He will also be joining Phoenix's executive management team.

John Rice, CEO of Phoenix Fund Services, to whom Reed will report, said, "“Tony brings a wealth of experience to Phoenix having worked in a range of roles managing client relationships, running collective investment scheme operations and regulatory risk management...Where Phoenix acts as Authorised Corporate Director to UK authorised funds Tony will be well placed to provide insight into regulatory matters when working with clients who are fund sponsors.”

Reed has previously worked at Insight Investment, JP Morgan, Halifax Bank of Scotland and the Pearl Group.
