Senior vice president of business strategy for Information Mosaic, Gerard Bermingham, will be presenting at the Financial Technologies Forum’s 6th annual Corporate Actions Processing Conference in New York on October 3.

With a direct focus on the ways in which financial firms can optimize their capital budgets in addressing the issues inherent in corporate actions processing, this year’s event will include individual presentations and panels that will provide insight to changes in associated tax law and regulatory reporting requirements, updates on current industry initiatives, and a discussion of the data challenges in achieving automation.

Bermingham’s presentation, which is entitled Creating a Business Case for a Corporate Actions Automation Project, will examine the components of a business case, its application to a corporate actions project, and provide instruction on establishing a compelling argument to achieve internal approval.

Bermingham has been instrumental in creating the business requirements, enhancements and development of Information Mosaic’s award-winning corporate actions application, IMActions.

The forum will also be attended by Kurt Dodds, Senior Vice President and Director of PNC Bank N.A.'s Asset Management Group Securities Processing Unit, who will offer his perspective based on an actual, recent business case process.
