KB Associates has opened its Cayman office providing directorship, company registration and registered office services to Cayman domiciled funds.

Mike Parton, who will be responsible for leading the development of the office, said: "Increasingly, investors require independent fund directors to have relevant up-to-date expertise and to devote significant time to each fund in order to properly discharge their duties.

“As I grow KB Associates' business in Cayman I will ensure that we make clear measurable commitments to our clients in respect of both the capacity and expertise of the directors we provide."

Mike Kirby, managing Principal of KB Associates commented: "Given the growing demand for strong, experienced, independent fund directors and Cayman's key role as the leading domicile for hedge funds the establishment of a Cayman presence is an important and natural development for KB Associates. This new office means that we are now able to provide professionally qualified and experienced directors in the key offshore centres of Ireland, Luxembourg and Cayman."
