Kcell names Deutsche Bank as depository

Deutsche Bank has been appointed Kazakhstan-based Kcell Joint Stock Company (Kcell) as a depository for its London Stock Exchange-listed global depository receipt programme.
Kcell has been providing mobile telecommunications services in Kazakhstan since 1998 and has approximately 12.7 million subscribers.
Akbar Poonawala, head of global equity services at Deutsche Bank, said: “I am delighted with Kcell’s decision to appoint Deutsche Bank as its depository. This further strengthens our position as the leading global depository bank.”
