Henderson improves fund efficiency with Euroclear

Henderson Global Investors has made all of its investment funds available for processing on Euroclear UK and Ireland’s fully automated fund processing platform.
Henderson is one of the first international asset managers to utitlise Euroclear’s electronic ‘order routing through to settlement’ service.
The new platform will reduce risk and improve the efficiency of settlement, reconciliation and asset servicing of Henderson funds, both in-house and for Henderson clients.
John Trundle, CEO of Euroclear UK and Ireland, said: “One of the catalysts for retail-oriented investment firms to look for greater efficiency gains is the retail distribution review (RDR).”
“Euroclear’s service is supportive of the RDR and enables our clients to achieve reliability, speed and transparency throughout the life cycle of an investment funds order. We welcome Henderson’s family of funds for processing at the same low processing costs already available for other asset classes."
