Global transaction banking solution provider Fundtech has hired Peter Reynolds as managing director for sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
As the head of EMEA sales, Reynolds will be responsible for driving regional strategy and managing local teams. He will report to Chris Zingo, global head of sales.
Reynolds brings more than 12 years of sales and management experience in financial services to Fundtech. Most recently, he led the EMEA sales initiatives for treasury and risk management solutions provider Reval.

Zingo, global head of sales at Fundtech, said: “Reynolds will be a tremendous asset to furthering Fundtech’s sales initiatives throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.”
“His strong relationships in the region, coupled with his deep understanding of the transaction banking business, will help us to increase market share for our various leading solutions in these increasingly important and rapidly evolving markets.”
Reynolds said: “As transaction banking becomes an increasingly critical element of the global financial services landscape, both as a source of stable revenue and as the linchpin of customer relationships, I’m excited to have the opportunity to lead the EMEA region for Fundtech.”
