Bravura Solutions’s COO John Waddy has become the global executive to deliver its wealth management and life insurance solution, Sonata.

In his new role, he will oversee the global software, R&D, product innovation, and quality assurance for Sonata. He will be based in the Asia Pacific and China region in September, so that he will be closer to the firm’s development teams and R&D centres based in Auckland, Melbourne, and Gurgaon, India.

Harry Storer has been appointed to succeed Waddy as the new COO for wealth management in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He previously served as senior vice president at Oracle Consulting Services Asia Pacific.

Tony Klim, CEO at Bravura, said: “These appointments will strengthen our ability to meet the increasing global demand for Sonata. Waddy will drive forward the delivery of Sonata and we’re also excited to welcome Storer.”

Waddy added: “I look forward to working closely with clients to help them derive maximum benefit from Sonata.”

Bravura currently has nine Sonata contract projects running in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
