Monyx has appointed RBC Investor & Treasury Services (RBC I&TS) as the administrator of its undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITS) SICAV umbrella.

RBC I&TS will provide custody, fund administration, transfer agency, securities lending and foreign exchange services to Monyx.

Monyx provides solutions to occupational pension system assets in Sweden. Its decision to choose RBC I&TS comes after Monyx established a management company in Luxembourg.

Maria Schäder, CEO of Monyx asset management, said: “We chose RBC given the strength of its credit ratings, reputation and product offering. We also felt that their commitment to servicing the Nordic region and willingness to tailor solutions to our requirements made for a good fit.”

Richard Street, head of global client coverage for Europe and the Middle East at RBC I&TS, commented: “We have an excellent track record of servicing the unique needs of Nordic clients and continue to grow our UCITS market share of clients based in the region.”

He added: “Both Monyx and RBC have a clear focus on working closely with clients and we look forward to partnering with Monyx going forward.”
