Eagle to deliver cloud data management with Microsoft Azure

Eagle Investment Systems LLC, a BNY Mellon firm is collaborating with Microsoft to create a new cloud-based data management platform.
Offered through Microsoft Azure, Eagle will work to develop a multi-tenant solution to provide data management solutions to global investment institutions, with $24 trillion in assets currently managed on Eagle.
According to Eagle, the relationship with Microsoft will also build upon Eagle’s secure private cloud, Eagle ACCESS(SM), creating a hybrid cloud offering.
The data management platform will help investment managers capture the data needed to manage assets and seek alpha, combined with Eagle Managed Services(SM), to help clients to ensure data validity and accuracy.
Mal Cullen, Eagle’s CEO, said: “The cloud has already diminished many of the barriers that have traditionally impeded investment managers’ ability to adopt and benefit from breakthrough technologies.”
He added: “Combining our knowledge with the strength of Microsoft and the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, this data management platform will also enable future opportunities for performance and accounting clients to benefit from enhanced analytics and reporting capabilities, and further combined with the breadth of the BNY Mellon asset servicing solutions will provide clients with many opportunities to leverage their data.”
